Faculty of Information Technology

The Faculty of Information Technology is the first of its kind in Sri Lanka’s national university system, established in June 2001. It offers three internal degree programs: BScHons in IT, BScHons in IT&M, and BScHons in AI, along with an external degree program, Bachelor of Information Technology. Additionally, postgraduate programs include Master’s and Doctoral degrees in IT and AI since early 2004. Professional development programs cater to the local IT industry’s immediate needs.
